The Politics of Oil

News image

The Philippine oil industry is like a farcical 3-Act play. The characters: three giants, a handful of bit players, and a government that hams up the part to suit the whims of a foreign director. —Winona Cueva

Baywalk

Name a favourite spot in the nation’s capital and Baywalk would surely top the list nowadays. This, after the Manila City government did a total make-over of what was once a dimly-lit bicycle lane frequented by shady characters, transforming it into a vibrant park that appeals to people from all walks of life. —Ron Jalmasco

El Nido Bay

Another nice view of El Nido
Miniloc Island, El Nido Palawan, Philippines

Another nice travel feature I found online on El Nido.
Scoring a little dated but still shows how much of good views and videos are out there in cyberspace on places few people get to see.
Byahe Tayo

A Department of tourism produced advertisement features 21 singers and tons of great views of the country.
Philippines travel video

Again not mine its so interesting to view what people put on You tube it ranges from Opinion to gags to things like this a chance to show the world what they have seen.
The video has different views of the Philippine Capitol.
It's made by Moe - a little less coffee perhaps? But still nice views from one end of Metro Manila to the other.
Nice views of places traffic often does not let us go to!!!
Philippine Democracy

Not my video, something I found online. A nice mix of stills and video using some basic effects.
Track ball fever

A problem of too much time for silly things leads to silly videos.

Reminds me of a bunch of trips I took up there over the years I grw up in palawan.
He did a nice job.
William Tong

William Tong: philippine idol

Philippine Idol has started - this is funny… and fun the guy onstage is actually full fledged web designer and flash editor I work with Edison. Vote for him - he's a great guy.
